Patients who are members of our plan have access to the Worldwide Dental Emergency Scheme. This offers emergency callout and treatment for the purpose of immediate pain relief or following a dental trauma. For full information on how to get help visit https://scheme.wdeas.co.uk/

If your dental issue is urgent, such as severe pain or infection, contact our reception to discuss your situation. They will advise you on the best course of action and take necessary precautions during your visit. We have more information on cold sores and your dental visit here.

Pick up the tooth by the crown (shiny part usually seen in the mouth).If very dirty, lick the root clean with saliva (you can use cold milk or saline if immediately available, but don't delay). Do not rub or use any kind of disinfectant.Push it straight back into the gap it has come out from, matching it to the tooth next door. If done straight away (less than 5 minutes) it will not hurt and can give it a good chance of survival.Get the child to bite on a clean tissue and then call our Reception 01480 466466.

If a child has knocked out or fractured a baby tooth it is important to seek help as soon as possible.Do not attempt to put the tooth back in place.Call 0333 2401311 to connect with the NHS Dental Trauma Pathway/Helpline for the East of England. Opening hours are 6:00AM - 9:00pm, 7 days a week.
