Improve your smile with Teeth Whitening
Have you always wanted a whiter smile? Do you hide your smile in photos? Many of us aren't happy with how our teeth look and there are many products available over-the-counter that promise results that are either unrealistic or more worrying, potentially damaging to teeth and gums.

At The Old Grammar School we use the Boutique Whitening system as this is the product that we trust and use ourselves.

Will Teeth Whitening work for me?
It is important to discuss whitening with your dentist before making a decision to go ahead. This is something that you can raise at your next check up or alternatively book a one-off assessment appointment.

How does it work?
-
Your dentist will assess your teeth and gums and advise if it is safe to proceed.
-
Your dentist will take impressions for your bespoke whitening trays.
-
The impressions will be sent to the laboratory where the dental technicians will make the whitening trays to fit your mouth very precisely.
-
Once the trays are ready, you will be asked to return to the dentist where you will receive full instructions on how to use them.

How long does it take?
It is important to consider how long the process takes, especially if you have a special event coming up.
It will take two weeks to make the bespoke whitening trays and then a minimum of three weeks of daily use of the gels and trays at home before the results can be seen.

How much does Whitening cost?
The price of the whitening treatment is £350. New patients to the practice can book their assessment appointment for a one-off fee of £45. This fee will be deducted from the full price of the treatment.
